My son was complaining of a headache so I offered him a Reiki treatment, which he accepted. I think it's the first time I've impressed him in a long time. I'm afraid I went back to my old habit of taking the person's pain into myself (ie I got the headache), but, his headache left him almost instantly. It started him talking to me with a new kind of love and respect that I havn't felt from him in years. He spent the whole evening at home, and although he was somewhat bored, he didn't seem tempted to leave. I'm very hopeful we will talk to each other on a regular basis now. It would be nice to find out who my son is after all these years (he's 23). Diane

my medical assistant had a headache unresponsive to medication and a markedly elevated blood pressure. I've also noticed that people are very beautiful while reiki is flowing to them. Not that they are not at other times, but the sense of peace I've received from them is outstanding, and in turn I feel at peace. Michael

Saturday my mother called me. I don't know if you remember that my parents were overseas for a month and I took care of their place for them. When I would water their plants I would also give them Reiki. So my mother calls and one of the first things she asks is what I did to her plants. I asked her why she was asking and she told me that her Christmas Cactus which only flowers during the christmas holidays and then lays dorment for the rest of the year was full of buds that were ready to bloom. She said that it had already flowered this past christmas and shouldn't be showing signs of buds until late next fall. Isn't that amazing!! Ralph

Late this afternoon my husband let me give him a complete healing with the exception of his face. He absolutely could not tolerate it. He also had a pain on one upper arm and I gave this area extra attention. He was very surprised when after the session that pain was completely gone. Since he looks upon alternative healing as hooey, I consider this a small miracle! Shawne

My daughter allowed me to do a complete treatment and she loved it. She has a very keen understanding of "where the energy comes from" without seeing any pictures, she said "it comes in from above your head down your body into your hands". Wow! Shawne

She started coughing and we talked about her chest infection. I tenderly told her about Reiki.....trying not to make a big thing about it because she can be too down to earth to absorb something different. She's in the Army!...... So I asked half joking could I try... She jumped at the chance. I said that if she didn't feel anything then thats ok. I felt I should start at her head. The heat nearly blew me away, I started to sweat and my eyelids jumped around. Afeter a few minutes it settled, but I felt that she really needed Reiki. I did a full reiki on her. My hands got very hot at certain points and when my hands were on her head they also buzzed! When I got to her chest my hands buzzed again. Whe I finished I was saturated in sweat. I spoke to her gentley, but she was too relaxed too answer. I fetched her a glass of cool water. After about 5 mins I placed my hand on her arm and said she could stay with her eyes closed for as long as she wanted and just to enjoy. About 10 mins after that she slowly opened her eys, but it took a little while before she could speak. She just sat there with a big grin on her face, and her eyes were out of focus. I gave her the water and she sipped away. After a while we spoke about what she felt and what I felt. She said she could still feel the heat on her head and her chest felt very warm and comfortable inside. I said about the buzzing in my hands over her head, thats where she banged her head the other day, she told me. I also told her about the buzzing over her chest and we thought it must be for extra healing in her lungs. Sunrise

By the time I had finished he was so asleep he was out cold. I spoke to him a few times but no reply. I left him sleeping. By this time the children were also quietly playing and had calmed down significantly. After about 15 mins he woke up and stretched liked a contented cat :-) he smiled a very relaxed smile. Sunrise

When I went to bed last night, I remembered that I could ReiKi myself. I said a small thankful prayer to The God of creation. Even though I am still finding my God. I knew that was ok. I placed my hands in the various positions, I always feel I should start at the head. As soon as I place my hands on my head The Heat starts. My eyelids fluttered and I felt at peace. Thats what always amazes me, the peace I feel. Even when I'm in my house of noisy children:-) My hands cooled a little and I changed positions. In all the other positions my hands just stay warm, not like my head. But It's wonderful on my feet, I always have cold feet, I love to reiki my feet. The warmth stays there even when I finish. Last night I again had a good deep sleep. Thankyou reiKi. Sunrise

I gave my daughter her Reiki healing. Before the healing she had been really angry at her brother. I gave her some time to calm down then we began. Her energy wasn't as intense as my mom's but I could still feel it moving. By the time I was finished she was asleep and slept for 45 minutes. When she woke up she told me she felt much calmer and the anger was gone. Teri

It was a complete paradox because while I definitely have more energy surging through me, I was never so relaxed, surrendered and in the "Void" than ever! I have such unbelievable gratitude. Two interesting healing experiences.... first, my son was having knee pain after skateboarding, enough to make him limp for two days. I tried Reiki one evening and the next day he was back on the go skakeboarding with no pain. This evening, I was eating pizza and a piece of piping hot cheese & sauce landed on my lower lip and was stuck there for a few agonizing seconds. Immediately, the whole top layer of skin on my lip blistered and peeled off, leaving red, raw, burning tender skin. I was in the middle of watching a movie, so I decided to try Reiki. I rested my hand over my mouth for the next 45-60 minutes. It was amazing.. I'm able to drink and eat again with no pain. I look into the mirror and see that the healing has already started. The redness is gone and I can't even tell I burned my whole bottom lip! Wow! kDeb

I am finding that my healings are just happening now, almost without my concious input. I feel very confident that the healing is doing a great of good always. I have been given many challenges of my faith lately and I am able to stay positive and welcome the challenges as lessons. I am thanking the Divine for another opportunity to expand myself, and I am happy to say, My confidence is at the highest that it has ever been. I know what I am here to do, and I am happy to do it. Healing Voices my 23 yr old son rang to say he was really sick, with infected sinuses, a toothache, and had a dislocated shoulder and could I do my "good vibes" thing on him. I said I would send him reiki and do my best. Today he rang to say "Mum, your good vibes thing really worked. I feel a lot better, don't need the sling. Usually the shoulder takes ages to heal but can feel it mending already. And the toothache is gone. I can feel myself getting better." Jenny
