An introduction to the Course by Rev. W.J. McVay
It is joy and happiness and a peacefulness so deep as to be unbelievable. It is a twinkle in your eyes, a smile on your lips and love in your heart. It is facing your worst nightmares and seeing their foolishness. It is about relationships transformed -- loving, wonderful relationships, holy relationships. It is about forgiving people and loving God.
There are many web sites which tell about A Course in Miracles (ACIM©) by speaking to the intellect, yet ACIM© ultimately isn't about intellect. ACIM© is about experience, not understanding. The course tells us directly that intellectual understanding is NOT required and says, "...experience does teach. I am leading you to a new kind of experience that you will become less and less willing to deny." That experience is of the Peace and Love of God.
ACIM© is not a religion or sect. In fact, it calls "organized religion" an oxymoron. ACIM© relies on no outside authority, rather it teaches us to turn inward and listen for the voice of God within each and everyone of us.
